The Opportunity
We are headhunting on behalf of a beloved household UK brand based near Bristol, known for its commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation. They are embarking on a major technology modernization journey across their enterprise landscape and need a hands-on, broad-scope Solution Architect to shape and drive the design. You won’t be locked into a single niche here, this is a wide-reaching role spanning enterprise systems, complex data integrations, operational processes, and supply chain logistics.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Enterprise Architecture: Lead the design and delivery of scalable tech solutions across core operational business areas (ERP, Supply Chain, Logistics, Data).
- Bridge Tech & Business: Translate complex business requirements from supply chain and manufacturing teams into resilient architectural blueprints.
- Data & Integration Management: Architect seamless data pipelines and integration strategies to connect legacy infrastructure with modern cloud/SaaS platforms.
- Stakeholder Ownership: Work closely with C-suite stakeholders, operational leaders, and 3rd-party vendors to align technology with strategic business goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Track Record: Solid experience as a Solution Architect within FMCG, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Supply Chain environments.
- Broad Architectural Scope: Comfortable working across applications, data integration, security, and infrastructure (not just a pure software or pure cloud architect).
- Enterprise Systems & Integration: Experience integrating complex ecosystems (ERP, WMS, modern data stacks, middleware/APIs).
- Stakeholder Impact: Pragmatic, persuasive, and able to demystify technical decisions for non-technical business leaders.
Working Pattern & Terms
- Hybrid Model: 2 days/week on-site near Bristol for critical collaboration; 3 days/week remote.
- Engagement: Offered primarily as a 1 to 2-year Fixed-Term Contract, providing medium-term stability on high-impact projects. (Flexible day-rate contract options may be explored for the right candidate).
