We require a Forklift Operative for our K-Cabin depot to assist both customers and delivery personnel with the loading and unloading of equipment, yard organisation and other tasks.
What You Will Do
- Use the forklift to load and unload accommodation units in a safe manner
- Process off-hired units in a timely manner
- Record any damages or missing products when off-hired into the yard
- Assist with on-hire preparation including furniture and other accessories
- Transport cabins to and from the workshops and wash bay areas as instructed
- Assist with yard organisation and housekeeping
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental legislation, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
What You Will Need
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the operation of forklift trucks
- Previous experience of operating 7T or larger forklifts would be advantageous.
- Full driving licence and driving experience.
