Plant & Equipment Test and Run Operative
Join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for testing and inspecting a full range of plant and equipment to ensure it meets safety and performance standards before rental. With strong communication skills and a commitment to safety, you’ll provide excellent customer service and assist with general yard duties as required.
What you will do:
- Perform thorough testing and inspection of equipment, to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure they remain in optimal condition.
- Maintain accurate records of all tests, inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed on equipment. Ensure that all documentation is complete and compliant with industry regulations.
- Ensure that all equipment complies with safety regulations and standards.
- General yard duties as required to include assisting with the loading and unloading of machinery.
What you will need:
- Construction, agricultural and/or mechanical experience would be desirable.
- Strong understanding of machinery and equipment and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment.
