KDM Hire is seeking a Generator Technical Manager to join our dynamic team at our Kilcronagh depot in Cookstown. As a Generator Technical Manager, you will oversee the maintenance, servicing, and repair of our generators, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety across all operations. What you'll do: Lead a team of engineers, providing guidance, technical support, and direction to ensure efficient and safe operations. Manage the maintenance and repair of generators, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Oversee fault diagnosis to minimise downtime and enhance the reliability of our equipment. Conduct on-site servicing and repairs, including event setup. Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance technical capabilities. Deliver outstanding technical support and customer service to our clients. Ensure a safe working environment, promoting safety standards and adhering to company policies and regulations. What you'll need: Proven leadership experience in managing a technical team. Extensive technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, particularly with generators and related equipment. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with a good understanding of electrical faults and repair techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships internally and externally. Previous knowledge of industrial electrical equipment including control panels.
