Join our K Cabin Division as a Preparation Operative! K Cabin specialises in the hire of temporary buildings, providing a solution to on or off-site accommodation requirements. As a vital part of our process, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our cabins and equipment are expertly prepared before the spray-painting stage. What you will do:
- Responsible for the preparation of cabins and equipment before spray painting by cleaning and sanding as required.
- Conduct thorough inspections of cabins and equipment to identify any defects or imperfections, addressing them appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including proper storage of tools and materials.
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in the setup and operation of spray-painting equipment as needed.
What you will need:
- Previous experience within a similar role of preparation.
- Experience in a fast-moving manufacturing/construction environment.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliable with a flexible approach to work.
- Good attention to detail.
- Plant and machinery experience would be advantageous.
