Traffic Marshalls Required Brighton Area

Start: 01/07/2026

Duration: 3-5 years work

We are currently looking for a number of Traffic Marshalls for a new project due to start on 01/07/2026 for a long duration. For this project we are ideally looking for local labour - People based in the following postcodes: BN1, BN2, BN3 and BN41.

Main Purpose of the Role:

To control and guide the movement of vehicles and heavy plant equipment safely on site, reducing the risk of accidents involving pedestrians, operatives, and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct vehicles and plant using approved hand signals and radio communication
  • Manage site traffic flow and pedestrian segregation
  • Ensure safe reversing and manoeuvring of HGVs, dumpers, forklifts, and cranes
  • Maintain exclusion zones and safe access routes
  • Conduct daily checks on traffic management systems and signage
  • Communicate with drivers, crane operators, and site management
  • Assist with deliveries and loading/unloading operations
  • Report hazards, near misses, and unsafe practices
  • Support emergency procedures if required
  • Interact with members of the public to ensure safety and passing of site and be the face of the brand within interactions, i.e. friendly and helpful.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid CPCS Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Banksman card or NPORS Traffic Marshall (Must have CSCS Logo on card)
  • Safety Critical Medical
  • References for previous work required
  • Direct role not agency
