We are looking for a motivated and proactive Internal Recruiter to join a busy and growing construction company. Working closely with and reporting directly to the Head of Recruitment, you will be responsible for supporting recruitment across the business, sourcing high-quality candidates for a variety of construction, site and operational roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the recruitment process from initial vacancy through to placement
- Sourcing and screening suitable candidates across a range of construction roles
- Advertising vacancies across job boards and other recruitment channels
- Proactively searching for and approaching suitable candidates
- Conducting initial telephone interviews and candidate qualification
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of available candidates
- Coordinating interviews with hiring managers
- Completing candidate compliance and right-to-work checks
- Maintaining accurate recruitment records and candidate information
- Developing strong relationships with site teams, managers and internal stakeholders
- Supporting the Head of Recruitment with current and upcoming staffing requirements
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is organised, confident and comfortable working in a fast-paced recruitment environment. Previous recruitment experience is preferred, ideally within construction, trades & labour, engineering or a similar sector, although candidates with strong recruitment experience from other industries will also be considered. You should have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to candidate sourcing and the ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities at the same time.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:30
