Job Purpose: The Quality Assurance Checker is responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of precast concrete panels when they arrive on site for a new build scheme to ensure all products meet company standards, project specifications, and industry regulations and any defects are reported. The role involves conducting inspections, recording quality data, identifying defects, and supporting continuous improvement within the production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out quality inspections on precast concrete panels when arriving onsite.
- Check dimensions, tolerances, finishes, reinforcement placement, cast-in items, and overall workmanship.
- Identify defects, non-conformances, and damaged products.
- Record inspection findings accurately using QA documentation and digital systems.
- Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) where required.
