Traffic Marshalls Required in the Brighton Area. Start date: 01/07/2026. Duration: 3-5 years work.
We are currently looking for a number of Traffic Marshalls for a new project due to start on 01/07/2026 for a long duration. For this project, we are ideally looking for local labour - People based in the following postcodes: BN1, BN2, BN3 and BN41.
Main Purpose of the Role: To control and guide the movement of vehicles and heavy plant equipment safely on site, reducing the risk of accidents involving pedestrians, operatives, and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct vehicles and plant using approved hand signals and radio communication.
- Manage site traffic flow and pedestrian segregation.
- Ensure safe reversing and manoeuvring of HGVs, dumpers, forklifts, and cranes.
- Maintain exclusion zones and safe access routes.
- Conduct daily checks on traffic management systems and signage.
- Communicate with drivers, crane operators, and site management.
- Assist with deliveries and loading/unloading operations.
- Report hazards, near misses, and unsafe practices.
- Support emergency procedures if required.
- Interact with members of the public to ensure safety and passing of site and be the face of the brand within interactions, i.e., friendly and helpful.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid CPCS Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Banksman card or NPORS Traffic Marshall (Must have CSCS Logo on card).
- Safety Critical Medical.
- References for previous work required.
- Direct role not agency.
