Project Manager
Here at KDC/ATL we are looking for a Project Manager to join the team in our busy Bournemouth office.
The project manager will be responsible for reviewing and reporting progress of all current and future projects within ATL Europe. The Project Manager will have a proven track record of managing multiple engineering projects of varying value and complexity within the Aerospace and Defence sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Project team coordination (direct and indirect).
- Commercial performance overview, monitoring project budget status against percentage completion and reporting potential issues through the Operations reporting process.
- Accountable for project time recording system/spend/ setup etc
- Risk, dependency and change management for their customer(s) workstream.
- Project planning and status reporting, including resource allocation and external parts procurement.
- Working with the Design Team to ensure projects are completed within budget, in line with the allocated timeframe and expected quality standards.
- Review and maintain project documentation including Bid Reviews, Proposals, Contract Reviews, Meeting Minutes and Delivery Acceptance Notes.
- Provision of Weekly Reporting metrics.
- Conducting project close out reviews, ensuring lessons learned are captured and fed back into the team for future learning.
- Providing PM guidance to Project Assistants as necessary.
- Prepare information for and subsequently attend Client meetings as necessary (CRM/PRM/QBR).

Attributes
- Project Management experience, including task scheduling, resource management and budget tracking.
- Experience in the delivery of engineering projects.
- Good communication at all levels – ability to present information and to respond to questions from customers, managers, or directors of the business.
- Good organisational skills and ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
- Strong Excel and MSP skills
- Familiar with the requirements of the Quality Management System within an engineering environment and ability to provide and/or support improvement initiatives.
- Commercial performance management and project risk management experience.
