KDC Projects is supporting a leading UK defence technology organisation in the search for an experienced Senior Safety Engineer to support the development and assurance of safety-critical Platform Management & Control Systems within the maritime domain. This opportunity offers the chance to work on complex maritime programmes, contributing to the safety assurance of systems that are integral to the operation and management of advanced naval platforms.
Working as part of an established engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering a range of safety engineering activities across the system lifecycle, including:
- Functional Safety assessments
- Hazard Identification and Hazard Analysis
- System Safety Assessments
- Safety Case development and maintenance
- Safety Assurance activities
- Risk assessment and mitigation
Safety Engineering within safety-critical environments includes:
- Hazard Analysis techniques
- Safety Case development
- Functional Safety and Safety Assurance activities
- Systems Engineering environments
Ability to attend the office 1-2 days per week.
