KDC Projects is seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer to join the team on a contract basis to support aerospace programmes. The role involves supporting the design, development, testing, and production support of electronic systems used in mission-critical aerospace applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support production operations by resolving electronics design issues
  • Manage non-conformances, including change requests and technical reviews
  • Address electronics component obsolescence across defined assemblies
  • Perform system-level and board-level debugging and fault-finding

Qualifications:

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
  • Broad electronics design background (schematic & PCB, digital, analogue, SMPS)
  • Experience resolving component obsolescence
  • Strong debugging and investigation capability
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Aerospace industry experience
  • Knowledge of aerospace standards (DO-160, DO-254, MIL-STD, ECSS)
  • Change management experience (CRs, NCRs, technical reviews)
  • Experience writing and executing qualification test plans
