KDC Projects is seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer to join the team on a contract basis to support aerospace programmes. The role involves supporting the design, development, testing, and production support of electronic systems used in mission-critical aerospace applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support production operations by resolving electronics design issues
- Manage non-conformances, including change requests and technical reviews
- Address electronics component obsolescence across defined assemblies
- Perform system-level and board-level debugging and fault-finding
Qualifications:
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Broad electronics design background (schematic & PCB, digital, analogue, SMPS)
- Experience resolving component obsolescence
- Strong debugging and investigation capability
- Proficient with MS Office
- Aerospace industry experience
- Knowledge of aerospace standards (DO-160, DO-254, MIL-STD, ECSS)
- Change management experience (CRs, NCRs, technical reviews)
- Experience writing and executing qualification test plans
