Responsibilities of the Role:
- Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager in the development and execution of talent acquisition strategies to attract, assess, and hire top-quality candidates. This includes developing ‘virtual benches’ of regularly required skills/talent.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs, job requirements, and team dynamics.
- Source potential candidates through various channels, Job Adder, job boards, social media platforms (including LinkedIn), professional networks, and referrals.
- Conduct thorough screening and assessment of candidates to ensure their qualifications and fit with the organisation.
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the interview and selection process.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, manage candidate feedback, and maintain communication with applicants throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and proactively recommend improvements to the recruitment process.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline by fostering relationships with universities, professional organisations, and other sources of talent.
- Mentor junior members of the team, providing ‘at the desk’ support as and when required.
- Build and grow online network and reputation on LinkedIn and other social media platforms.
- Attend conferences and events to spread awareness of KDC and associated brands.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Consultant or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, best practices, and current trends.
- Strong understanding of different sourcing techniques and tools, including social media platforms, job boards, and ATS systems.
- Excellent interviewing and assessment skills, with the ability to evaluate candidates based on both technical and cultural fit.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
