Working closely with senior managers, you'll play a key role in supporting recruitment, onboarding and general business administration, helping to ensure an excellent experience for both candidates and employees. What the Recruitment Administrator job involves:

  • Managing recruitment administration from advertising vacancies through to onboarding new employees.
  • Communicating with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Preparing employment documentation and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Coordinating interviews, inductions and onboarding activities.
  • Maintaining recruitment and HR systems, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Supporting training administration and maintaining employee records.
  • Producing reports, updating spreadsheets and preparing business documentation.
  • Responding to telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Coordinating meetings, diary management and general Head Office administration.
  • Supporting managers and colleagues with a range of administrative tasks across the business.
  • Assisting with business improvement projects and identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes.
  • Providing additional office support whenever required to ensure the smooth running of the Head Office.

Skills required:

  • Previous experience within a Recruitment Administrator, HR Administrator, Office Administrator or Business Support role.
  • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding or HR administration would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills with a confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • The ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive attitude with the confidence to work on your own initiative.
  • A flexible approach and willingness to support colleagues across the wider business.
  • A calm, professional manner with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and building positive working relationships.
