The Role
As a Coded Welder / Fabricator, you will join a skilled production team responsible for manufacturing high-quality fabricated products. You will work from engineering drawings, complete coded welding activities, and ensure all work meets strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out coded welding and fabrication work
- Read and interpret engineering drawings (Third Angle Projection)
- Complete quality checks including MPI / Dye Pen testing where required
- Record production information using an MRP system
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and housekeeping
- Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S improvements
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Certified welding qualifications
- Previous welding/fabrication experience within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
