Have you worked within a Customer Service Executive or a Sales Administration role and are now looking to work for a growing business in the Malton area where you can get your teeth into a new challenge? Have you got a good background within Customer Services and Administration with a strong attention to detail? Would you like to work for a well established small to medium sized business where you can really make a difference to the company and feel like a valued part of their order processing team? We are working exclusively with a brilliant manufacturing business who are market leaders in their field and supply their products all over the world. Due to business growth, they are looking to recruit an additional person to be part of their Sales and Customer Service team.

What the Customer Service Executive job involves:

  • Working in a lovely open plan office, you will be answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries as well as managing the main email inbox.
  • You will be creating quotes on products for customers across the UK and the rest of the world.
  • Liaising with the production department on dates for completion and dispatch.
  • Updating and processing customer information on their inhouse CRM systems.
  • Updating excel spreadsheets.
  • Sending samples out to customers.
  • Working closely with the Sales Managers and their customer Accounts.
  • Building rapport with customers over the phone and via email.

Skills required:

  • Previous experience from within a Customer Service / Order Processing / Sales Administration based job.
  • Manufacturing / Engineering / Distribution experience would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Fully computer literate with MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal to speak to customers worldwide.
  • A strong attention to detail and the ability to pick up new systems and processes with ease.
  • Able to manage your own workload and work as part of a team.

Other information:

  • Full time working Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5.00 with 30 mins for lunch.
  • 22 days holiday + Bank holidays, increasing annually to a maximum of 26.
  • Car Parking available and an onsite Gym.
  • Discretionary profit related annual bonus.
  • Salary sacrifice pension scheme that is matched by the employer up to 7%.
