Are you an experienced Finance Administrator who is immediately available and confident supporting the day-to-day financial operations of a manufacturing business? Our client is a well-respected manufacturing and engineering company based in the Filey area and is seeking a temporary Finance Administrator to join their team. This role is initially temporary with the potential for a permanent position. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong transactional accounts background who is comfortable working across cash management, reconciliations, supplier payments and sales invoicing.

What the Interim Finance Administrator job involves:

  • You will support the day-to-day finance function and ensure financial transactions and records are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Supporting day-to-day cash management.
  • Completing bank reconciliations.
  • Processing supplier payments.
  • Maintaining and updating the cashbook.
  • Processing sales orders.
  • Raising and processing sales invoices.
  • Uploading and downloading cash information.
  • Managing sales invoice information and ensuring records are accurate and up to date.

Skills required:

  • Previous experience working within a busy finance environment.
  • Previous finance administration or accounts experience.
  • Experience with cash management and bank reconciliations.
  • Experience of using Sage would be beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage day-to-day finance administration effectively.

  • Working hours are typically 8:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday, and 8:00 to 11:30 on Friday.
