KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with a successful, expanding organisation to recruit an Assistant Accountant in North Tyneside for six months. Your duties will be as follows:
- Processing and posting invoices, receipts and payments accurately.
- Posting bank transactions, reconciling bank statements and monitoring cash.
- Performing supplier statement reconciliations.
- Recording receipts and expenses.
- Assisting with general finance administration and supporting the Finance Manager.
- Administration of company credit cards.
- Supporting with implementation of new PO and expense systems.
- Assisting with finance transformation, including assessing processes for efficiency.
- Implementing improvements and tightening up financial policies and controls.
- Assisting with ad-hoc reporting and other projects as needed.
You will have worked in a similar role previously and have a strong understanding of basic accounting. Experience with Xero and Excel is desirable and a keen interest in systems improvement and AI would be advantageous.
