KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with this exciting business on the outskirts of Newcastle in their search for a Part-time Management Accountant. This is a standalone role where you will get heavily involved in the financial control and profitability of the business.
Your duties will be as follows:
- Supporting the financial management of multiple projects and ensuring accurate reporting
- Maintaining financial control, managing cash flow, and supporting project profitability
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Supporting financial year-end processes, including P11Ds and audit preparation
- Processing and managing business overheads such as premises rent and insurance
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Supporting monthly applications for payment and providing financial data to management
- Preparing cash flow forecasts in line with payment schedules
- Maintaining and updating the fixed asset register
- Completing PAYE submissions and payments to HMRC
- Processing payroll for monthly staff
- Reconciling supplier statements and managing supplier payment runs
You will have worked in a similar role previously and have strong IT skills, ideally in Excel and Sage. Knowledge of WIP, CVR and project based financial reporting would be advantageous.
