KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with this successful manufacturing company who are looking to add to their team and recruit an Accounts Assistant. Those experienced or starting out in their finance career will be considered.
Working Pattern: Condensed hours β Monday to Thursday (longer days), Friday off.
- Raising and posting sales invoices accurately in line with production and dispatch information.
- Allocating customer receipts including BACS and cheque payments.
- Maintaining customer accounts and supporting basic credit control activities.
- Assisting with chasing overdue balances and resolving straightforward customer queries.
- Processing purchase invoices, including matching to purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Posting supplier invoices and ensuring correct authorisation is obtained.
- Preparing supplier payment runs for review and approval.
- Reconciling supplier statements and assisting with query resolution.
- Maintaining accurate and well-organised sales and purchase ledger records.
- Supporting cashflow awareness by keeping ledgers up to date.
- Assisting with month-end tasks such as ledger reconciliations and reporting support.
- Liaising with internal departments including production, procurement, and sales to resolve invoice issues.
- Ensuring correct VAT treatment on sales and purchase invoices under guidance.
- Updating and maintaining customer and supplier data.
- Providing general administrative support to the finance team as required.
