KCR Solutions are supporting this growing, dynamic business in their search for an experienced Accounts Assistant.
This is a varied role within a fast-paced environment, supporting the day-to-day finance function across multiple entities.
The successful candidate will have strong Sage Line 50 experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing financial transactions within Sage Line 50
- Reconciling bank, cash and credit card accounts
- Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
- Preparing and reconciling VAT returns
- Posting journals, including accruals and prepayments
- Assisting with year-end trial balance reconciliations
- Ensuring compliance with HMRC and Companies House deadlines
- Posting invoices and allocating rents received
- Reconciling client deposit accounts
- Chasing outstanding rental arrears where required
- Supporting with general office administration, including handling enquiries and maintaining records
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of
- Sage Line 50
- Experience with bank reconciliations, VAT returns and journals
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Experience working within a multi-entity environment
- Property or lettings sector experience
- AAT qualification or currently studying desirable
