KCR Solutions are delighted to be recruiting a Management Accountant for an excellent client based in Newcastle. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in supporting business decision-making through accurate financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

This role is responsible for:

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
  • Analysing financial results, identifying trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Preparing financial forecasts, budgets, and cashflow projections.
  • Providing insightful commentary and recommendations to senior management.
  • Supporting the creation and consolidation of annual budgets.
  • Supporting stakeholders in understanding financial targets and performance.
  • Maintaining rolling forecasts and conducting scenario analysis where needed.
  • Monitoring and analysing operating costs, overheads, and margins.
  • Supporting cost-saving initiatives and financial efficiency projects.
  • Maintaining cost-allocation models and internal charging processes.
  • Working closely with department heads, providing financial guidance and analysis.
  • Supporting strategic initiatives with financial modelling and scenario planning.
  • Presenting financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
  • Improving financial processes, reporting tools, and internal controls.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies and accounting standards.
  • Assisting with year-end audit preparation and queries.

This role will suit a CIMA, ACCA or ACA fully or part qualified accountant with excellent Excel knowledge and strong communication skills.
