KCR Solutions are delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join an established and growing outsourced finance team in Newcastle. Working with a wide range of clients across various industries, this role offers excellent exposure to all areas of finance within a supportive and professional environment.
As an Assistant Accountant, you will support a portfolio of clients, ensuring their finance operations run smoothly. You will take responsibility for preparing key financial reports, supporting day-to-day finance activity, and helping supervise a small team delivering essential transactional processes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Complete VAT returns for a range of clients
- Identify potential improvements or opportunities and communicate these to senior colleagues
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with sales and purchase ledger processing
- Accurate invoice posting
- Timely payments to suppliers and creditors
- Monitor quality, accuracy and timelines of team output
- Act as a key contact for your clients, providing regular updates and ensuring work is completed accurately and on schedule
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Help resolve finance and systems issues to ensure seamless service delivery
Our client is looking for an individual who is part- or fully-qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA, and confident in managing their own workload while delivering a high standard of service to clients. Hybrid working is offered after completion of your probation.
