KCR Solutions are delighted to be assisting and excellent client based in Middlesbrough to recruit an Interim Group Management Accountant for a 6-month FTC.
You will support the finance function by producing accurate financial and management information, leading budgeting and forecasting activities, and supporting year-end reporting and audit processes.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation and help drive continuous improvement within the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare management accounts, financial reports and analysis.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling activities.
- Review financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
- Oversee VAT returns and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Support year-end accounts preparation and external audits.
- Provide financial business partnering and advice to operational managers.
- Line manage finance team members and support workload planning.
- Contribute to process improvements, reporting enhancements and financial efficiencies.
Person Specification
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience producing management accounts and financial reports.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and auditors.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
