An excellent opportunity has arisen for a part-time Payroller (15 hours) to work on a 6 month basis for this great company in Hexham. Your duties will be as follows:
- Preparation of monthly payroll and processing it on Sage Payroll
- Setting up new starters and leavers
- Calculation of hours to pay seasonal staff using timesheets and a rota
- Amendments to monthly salaried payments for changes to rates/ hours worked, as required
- Calculating and processing statutory payments
- Collection and provision of information for the pension provider
- Extracting data from the payroll system to input into the finance system and carrying out reconciliations
- Preparing and processing payroll related invoices, including pension payments, union subscriptions etc
- Dealing with ad-hoc payroll queries
You will have strong payroll experience and will have worked in a similar role previously.
