KCR Solutions are delighted to be partnering with a growing local company to recruit a Management Accountant. The successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar role and be a motivated finance professional looking to develop their management accounting and team leadership skills within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Managing a small team, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial information to the business. You will provide financial insight that supports operational and commercial decision-making.
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Prepare and post journals including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and stock adjustments
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Support monthly reporting of key operational KPIs
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
- Analyse financial results and provide commentary on performance
- Support stock valuation and inventory reconciliation processes
- Work closely with operational teams to improve reporting and cost control
- Supervise and support two finance team members
- Assist with workload planning and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure financial controls and company procedures are followed
- Assist with year-end audit preparation and external auditor queries
- Support continuous improvement projects within the finance function
