KCR Solutions are delighted to be recruiting a Financial Accountant for a dynamic and growing business in Middlesbrough. You will be ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified and ideally started your career in practice. The successful candidate will have experience in financial accounting and audit practices, have excellent Excel skills and strong knowledge of UK and International accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting cycles across departments
- Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate ledgers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls
- Contribute to financial modelling and automation projects using Excel and ERP systems
- Liaise with external auditors and support statutory reporting requirements
