KCR Solutions are working with one of our loyal clients who are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to join their small, passionate team in Bowburn, Durham. This is a newly created role that offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact within the business. The position has been designed to evolve alongside the successful candidate, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a hands-on environment, and is looking to grow with a business.

Working closely with senior leadership, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day finance function while also supporting wider operational and administrative activities. No two days will be the same, and you'll be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting involved wherever needed.

Your duties will include:

  • Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
  • Maintaining debtor and creditor ledgers
  • Managing credit control activities, supported by Chaser software
  • Posting month-end journals and assisting with month-end processes
  • Handling customer account queries and resolving issues efficiently
  • Supporting the management and filing of ISO documentation
  • Providing administrative support across the business
  • Assisting engineers and colleagues with day-to-day queries
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and reporting information
  • Supporting operational processes and contributing to continuous improvements
  • Undertaking general office administration as required
