Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will become an integral part of a busy finance team, supporting the production of accurate financial information across multiple business entities.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts to trial balance stage
Post and reconcile journals
Accruals and prepayments
Complete monthly bank reconciliations
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules
Maintain the fixed asset register and process depreciation journals
Support cashflow monitoring and reporting activities
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Ensure purchase ledger and sales ledger transactions are accurately reflected within the accounts
Assist in maintaining robust financial controls and procedures
Provide ad hoc support to the Finance Manager and wider finance team
Candidate Requirements
Strong understanding of month-end processes
Ability to work confidently to trial balance stage
Good Excel skills and experience using accounting software
Organised and detail-oriented xiskglj with strong analytical skills
Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
