Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for winning? We’re looking for a Senior Bid Manager to lead high-value bids for cutting-edge IT services and solutions, including Infrastructure, Managed Services, Security, Collaboration and Digital Transformation projects.

Salary – Up to £60,000 per annum dependant on experience. Location – Hull, Carr Lane, 2 days office based minimum. Advert Closing Date – 21st January 2026. We may close the advert early if we receive strong interest. Interview Dates – To be confirmed after advert closing date.

What you’ll be doing

As Senior Bid Manager, you’ll take ownership of the entire bid lifecycle—from qualification through to submission and post‑bid review. You’ll develop winning strategies for complex IT tenders, including public sector frameworks and private sector RFPs, ensuring every proposal is compliant, compelling and client focused. Working closely with technical experts and sales teams, you’ll coordinate solution workshops, craft persuasive content and maintain a robust bid library. You’ll also act as the main point of contact for client queries, build strong stakeholder relationships and lead virtual bid teams with confidence. Beyond delivery, you’ll track outcomes, analyse success rates and drive continuous improvement across our bid processes.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience managing complex bids for IT services and solutions (ÂŁ1M+ contract value).
  • Strong understanding of UK public sector procurement frameworks (CCS, G‑Cloud, YPO).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, ISO27001 and other industry standards.
  • Ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with bid management tools, CRM systems and Microsoft packages.
  • Calm under pressure with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Desirable but not essential

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related fields.
  • APMP or similar bid management certification.
  • Experience in civil engineering, IT services or infrastructure sectors.
