Are you a natural communicator who loves building relationships and finding solutions? At KCOM, we’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Collections Consultant to join our Enterprise team and play a key role in keeping our business customers on track. This isn’t your typical debt collection role—it’s about supporting our customers, protecting long-term relationships, and making sure KCOM remains a trusted partner for businesses across the region.
Location – Carr Lane, Hull, with hybrid working opportunity
Hours – between 22.5 and 30 per week

Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of your own portfolio of business customers, managing the end-to-end collections process.
- Monitoring customer payment behaviour and following up with friendly, proactive contact to keep things running smoothly.
- Working collaboratively across teams to resolve payment issues while delivering a great customer experience.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on all activity—keeping systems sharp and decisions data-driven.
- Analysing account history and trends to tailor your approach and support each customer individually.
- Helping to protect the business by reviewing credit checks and recommending appropriate action when needed.
- Making smart recommendations on debt write-offs where appropriate and in line with policy.

- Someone who’s organised, confident, and great with people—especially over the phone and email.
- A problem-solver who doesn’t shy away from tricky conversations and always aims for a positive resolution.
- Comfortable working to targets and SLAs, with a good eye for detail and a passion for doing things right.

- Previous experience in collections or finance-related customer service is a bonus, but if you’ve got the attitude and willingness to learn—we can teach you the rest!
