As part of KCMG’s continued expansion and the development of an exciting new motorsport programme in collaboration with a major global automotive manufacturer, we are looking for an experienced and highly organised Parts & Purchasing Manager to join our GT3 and GT4 operations.

This is a key position within our organisation, responsible for ensuring that our race and test programmes have the correct parts, equipment and consumables available on time and within budget.

Depending on the successful candidate’s experience and profile, the position may evolve to include broader responsibility for the day-to-day management of our workshop.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete parts inventory for our GT3 and GT4 programmes.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure full traceability of components.
  • Coordinate parts requirements with race engineers, chief mechanics and project management.
  • Purchase components, equipment, tools and workshop supplies.
  • Manage relationships with manufacturers, technical partners and suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times and commercial terms.
  • Monitor orders and deliveries, identifying potential shortages or delays at an early stage.
  • Prepare parts packages for race events, tests and rebuild programmes.
  • Manage component mileage, lifing and service schedules.
  • Organise spare-parts movements between the workshop, circuits and external suppliers.
  • Control purchasing costs and provide regular budget and stock reports.
  • Support freight, logistics and customs documentation when required.
  • Continuously improve purchasing and inventory procedures.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in professional motorsport, ideally within GT3, GT4, endurance racing or a comparable high-level programme.
  • Strong knowledge of race-car components, technical parts and workshop requirements.
  • Proven experience in purchasing, parts management or motorsport logistics.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage several priorities in a fast-moving and deadline-driven environment.
  • Commercial awareness and confidence when negotiating with suppliers.
  • Proficiency with inventory-management systems, spreadsheets and purchasing tools.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and operational teams.
  • Fluent English is required; German or another European language would be an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to race events and test sessions when required.

What We Offer

  • A key role within an ambitious and expanding international motorsport organisation.
  • The opportunity to contribute to a major new GT3 and GT4 programme supported by a leading automotive manufacturer.
  • A high level of autonomy and the possibility of taking on broader workshop-management responsibilities.
  • A professional, international and performance-focused working environment.
  • A competitive package based on experience and level of responsibility.
