The Advice and Wellbeing team at KCLSU are looking for a Student Advisor to deliver high quality and empowering one-to-one advice and support to our student members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring that students can access the KCL (and linked institutions) regulations and procedures, equipping them with the information, tools and support that they need to take the decisions that are right for them in their circumstances.
- Developing your expertise in university regulations, processes, and operations, and apply this knowledge accurately and confidently to individual cases while working collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure students receive the support they need.
- Delivering specialist advice through a range of channels; managing a caseload, and keeping accurate case records.
- Represent individual students at formal and informal University meetings.
- Identifying policy issues/trends and communicating these to the Advice management team; as well as contributing to the development and delivery of KCLSU Advice and Wellbeing departmental projects.
