KC Group are recruiting on behalf of an established Organisation who are hiring for 2 Student Hub Advisors, based in the Leeds City area. The initial period will be around one month, with the potential for an extension. The role is paying an hourly rate of £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience), working Monday–Friday across a rota shift pattern.
As a Student Hub Advisor, you’ll be the first point of contact for students, providing clear, empathetic support across in-person, phone, email, live chat, and messaging platforms. Working as part of a proactive team, you’ll handle student enquiries, offer guidance, and refer complex issues to specialist teams to ensure an excellent student experience.
Shift Pattern 1
- Monday: Non-working day
- Tuesday: 8:30am - 6:00pm
- Wednesday: 11:30am - 8:00pm
- Thursday: 11:30am - 8:00pm
- Friday: 11:30am - 8:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am - 2:00pm
Shift Pattern 2
- Monday: 11:30am - 8:00pm
- Tuesday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
- Wednesday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
- Thursday: 11:30am - 8:00pm
- Friday: 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Key responsibilities of the Student Hub Advisor role includes:
- Responding to student queries promptly and professionally
- Monitoring attendance and advising on absence-related matters
- Supporting student wellbeing and identifying safeguarding concerns
- Managing student data and contributing to reporting
- Coordinating campus activities and events
- Acting as a liaison between students and academic staff
To be considered for the Student Hub Advisor role:
- Experience in a student-facing, advisory, customer service, or support role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Confidence working with data and multiple systems (CRM experience desirable)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
