KC Group Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Administrator to join a busy and supportive team based in Solihull on an ongoing temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with strong organisational, spreadsheet, and finance support skills to support the day-to-day operation of a Health & Safety function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to the Health & Safety team
- Organising, attending, and taking minutes for committee and team meetings
- Maintaining Health & Safety records, training documentation, and databases
- Managing spreadsheets, reports, and compliance records
- Raising purchase orders, receipting goods, and supporting budget administration
- Booking training courses and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Managing the Health & Safety inbox and calendar
- Supporting audits and compliance activities
- Maintaining stock levels of Health & Safety equipment and supplies, including first aid items and signage
To be considered for the Health and Safety Administrator role:
- Previous administration experience
- Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills
- Experience supporting finance processes, including purchase orders and invoicing
- Excellent organisational and minute-taking abilities
- Experience coordinating meetings, training, and records management
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Previous Health & Safety administration experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
Key information about the Health and Safety Administrator:
- Location: Solihull
- Hours: 18 hours per week, Tuesday to Thursday, 9:00am - 3:00pm
- Start Date: ASAP (subject to vetting)
- Duration: Ongoing temporary assignment, currently authorised until 30 September 2026
- Salary: £13.97 per hour PAYE
Please note: Once per quarter, the successful candidate will be required to swap one working day to a Friday to attend a Health & Safety Committee meeting.
