Are you a strategic, creative, and commercially minded marketing leader ready to lead transformational growth? We are looking for an exceptional Head of Marketing and Recruitment to lead a dynamic marketing function through its next exciting phase of development and national expansion.

In this high-impact leadership role, you’ll build and deliver powerful, fully integrated campaigns to connect with Gen Z audiences, drive student recruitment, and elevate brand visibility across digital and offline platforms. You’ll oversee brand communications, digital strategy, CRM engagement, outreach campaigns, and recruitment operations — all while playing a key role in the organisation’s future growth as new campuses open across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and deliver a national marketing and recruitment strategy aligned with expansion plans.
    • Report regularly to senior leadership with insights, analytics, and performance metrics.
    • Inspire and manage a cross-functional marketing and recruitment team across content, digital, CRM, events, and outreach.
  • Campaign & Digital Strategy
    • Lead the execution of high-impact marketing campaigns across PPC, SEO, paid social, email, and offline channels.
    • Ensure creative output and messaging align with brand identity and audience needs.
    • Oversee digital presence, including website UX, SEO, and performance improvements.
  • CRM, Data & Analytics
    • Lead the CRM strategy, incorporating segmentation, personalisation, and automation.
    • Monitor campaign performance and ROI using tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI, and Semrush.
    • Use insight and data to refine marketing decisions and improve conversion outcomes.
  • Brand, Content & Outreach
    • Evolve a consistent and compelling brand voice across all channels.
    • Drive social media strategy, influencer engagement, and content creation.
    • Support student recruitment campaigns, open days, school partnerships, and outreach events.
  • Team Leadership
    • Line manage the marketing and recruitment team, setting KPIs and leading performance reviews.
    • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and creative culture.
    • Lead on professional development and support future team growth planning.

  • Proven senior-level marketing and recruitment experience, ideally within education or a youth-focused industry.
  • Track record of managing high-performing teams and delivering strategic campaigns.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, CRM systems, campaign planning, and analytics.
  • Deep understanding of modern student recruitment journeys and audience engagement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • CIM or equivalent professional qualification.
