Payroll Co‑ordinator to join our team at H&P, to be based at our offices in Aberdeen.
Contract Type: Permanent.
Responsibilities:
- Input all payroll data accurately into SAP including but not exclusively; Tax Codes, Student Loans, Court Orders, Training, Expenses, Advances, Adjustments, Pensions, Childcare vouchers etc.
- Review and check audit reports.
- Review all absences in SAP to ensure they comply with statutory and company rules.
- Review and send the payroll reports for approval.
- Produce and send the payment files for payment.
- Process the Posting to Finance.
- Prepare and send P45s to leavers.
- Ensure compliance of Pension Auto Enrolment.
- Raise payment requests as required.
- Assist with any payroll projects and testing as required.
- Respond to payroll queries from employees, HR and external agencies.
- Access, share and manage personal information relating to employees and colleagues in line with company and legal requirements regarding data protection and confidentiality.
- Update P11D and PSA data from various sources throughout the year.
- Keep up to date with UK legislation.
Experience:
- SAP Payroll knowledge desired but not essential.
- Exposure to payroll projects, testing new implementations.
- Working with personal information in line with data protection and confidentiality requirements.
Behaviour and Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication is essential.
- Receptive to feedback.
- Ability to use own initiative.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Verbal and written English language competency.
- Ideally a payroll qualification, although relevant experience is more important than academic qualifications.
