A HR Advisor (FTC) to join our team at H&P, to be based at our offices in Aberdeen, UK.
Contract Type: FTC – 6 months
H&P recently acquired KCA Deutag, and integration is ongoing.

You and the role:
To provide an effective, efficient and professional HR advisory service to employees and managers across all business units by phone, email and in face-to-face meetings in relation to the employment lifecycle and people management policies and practices. To include assistance with the upskilling of HR Administrators as required within the HR Service Centre.
Primary responsibilities:
- Ensure correct allocation of advisory activities via the work allocation system in line with SLA, managing personal caseload and ensuring accurate reporting information.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all HR queries, providing prompt and accurate support to managers and employees.
- Provide professional advice, guidance, coaching and support on people management, case management, HR policies, procedures and processes.
- Risk-assess situations to determine the appropriate resolution route and advise managers accordingly.
- Handle and resolve customer queries, escalating to expert teams or HRBPs when required.
- Drive continual improvement by identifying anomalies in policy application and contributing to policy development.
- Develop and review HR processes, procedures and systems, and provide first-level support to end users including communication of changes.
- Undertake project work requiring HR advisory input, including potential project management or coordination responsibilities.
Experience:
- HR qualification or relevant generalist HR work experience
- Knowledge of HR processes, procedures and policies ensuring effective application and continuous improvement
- Working on projects and managing project deliverables
- Working with personal information relating to employees and colleagues in line with company and legal requirements relating to data protection and confidentiality
- Employment law knowledge
