Our client is a successful and growing property company who are really looking forward to new and exciting plans as they continue to grow. They work with a huge network of landlords, property developers, and investors who require high volume transactions and appointments to be carefully and accurately documented onto spreadsheets and databases. There is a busy lettings/rental market that they dominate across East London and Essex, and the growth in this area has necessitated a professional and experienced lettings negotiator.

This is a great position for a calm, organised person to run multiple administrative tasks revolving around property lettings, ASTs, renewals, maintenance, and support. This position is for someone with a minimum of 2 years relevant lettings experience. You are likely to have ARLA qualifications and understand the rental market. You will be confident in working with landlords, renters, builders, tradespeople, and current tenants.

Requirements:
  • Administering a large database of client requirements for property related tasks
  • Liaising with landlords on their portfolio requirements
  • Liaising with renters on their property needs
  • Issuing new ASTs and understanding renewal contracts
  • Referencing applicants and vetting their backgrounds
  • Taking rental deposits
  • Knowledge of periodic and fixed term ASTs
  • Calling clients and trade workers to arrange maintenance and support requirements
  • Organising timed visits and appointments
  • Coordinating all people required for the relevant jobs
  • Updating in-house systems
  • Completion certification paperwork post works for EPC and Gas Safety Certificates
  • Chasing up relevant people in the supply chain
  • Daily administration
  • Filing online reports and statements of work
  • Maintaining compliance issues relating to construction works
  • 5 days a week in the office required. No homeworking or hybrid workers
Benefits:
  • Excellent salary for the right candidate £25,000- £28,000 depending on experience, with commission on top to make a great OTE
