Our client are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Contracts Solicitor to join the dynamic legal team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and advising on a wide range of commercial agreements to support the business's operational and strategic objectives.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts including:
- Supply and service agreements
- Distribution and agency agreements
- IT, Saa S, and licensing contracts
- Confidentiality agreements (NDAs)
- Procurement and outsourcing contracts
- Terms and conditions of sale or purchase
- Advise internal stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations, and risks.
- Support contract lifecycle management, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
- Work collaboratively with other departments such as procurement, sales, marketing, and compliance.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of contract templates and legal policies.
- Support business development initiatives and commercial projects.
- Stay updated on legal developments and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Deliver training and guidance to non-legal colleagues on contracting best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years PQE.
- Strong background in commercial law and contracts, gained either in private practice or in-house.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to assess and manage legal and commercial risk.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A commercial mindset and ability to work effectively in a business-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract management tools (desirable).
- Previous in-house legal experience.
- Exposure to international contracts and cross-border transactions.
- Sector-specific experience (e. g., technology, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, etc.).
- Experience working with data protection, competition law, or intellectual property.
