KC Group Recruitment is partnering with a leading regional accountancy and advisory firm that is continuing to invest heavily in its Corporate Tax and Transactions offering. They are now looking to appoint a Corporate M&A / Deals Tax Manager to join their growing transactions tax team, based from either Cheltenham or Cardiff, with hybrid and flexible working available. This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically strong and commercially aware tax professional who wants exposure to high-quality transactional work and the chance to build a long-term career within a market-leading advisory environment.

You will work closely with Corporate Finance, Transaction Services and M&A specialists on complex and high-profile deals across a wide range of sectors.

The Role:

  • Co-ordinating and delivering tax due diligence reviews on both buy-side and vendor engagements
  • Identifying key tax risks and advising on warranties, indemnities, and transaction structuring
  • Reviewing the tax implications of sale and purchase agreements
  • Carrying out pre-disposal tax reviews for businesses preparing for sale
  • Advising on corporate and group reorganisations, communicating complex matters clearly to clients
  • Supporting transaction structuring and optimal tax planning strategies
  • Working closely with corporate finance teams, private equity houses, banks, and corporate acquirers
  • Building strong client relationships through clear communication and high-quality delivery

About You:

  • Experience in UK corporation tax, with exposure to capital and employment tax within a transactions environment, or a strong desire to move into deals-focused work
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to identify risk and pricing implications
  • Confident in communicating complex tax matters in a clear and practical way
  • Client-focused, with a strong emphasis on quality and accuracy
  • Able to balance attention to detail with an understanding of the wider commercial picture
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
