This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to take ownership of building internal processes, shaping best practice, and partnering closely with the leadership team across two brands.
We are seeking a driven Finance Manager to establish and lead the day-to-day financial operations for the Group. This is an ideal role for a PQ / Finalist / Newly Qualified Accountant who wants broad exposure, autonomy, and the opportunity to influence how a modern finance function is built from the ground up.
You will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, improving processes, supporting commercial decision-making, and enabling the business to continue its strong growth trajectory.

- Manage the monthly management accounts process, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Prepare VAT returns, payroll journals, and support year-end processes.
- Act as a trusted partner to the Directors, providing insight, analysis, and clarity around financial performance.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities across both brands.
- Provide regular commentary on profit & loss, cashflow, and KPIs.
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency, especially during the transition from outsourced to in-house finance.
- Lead on implementing upgraded financial processes, documentation, and controls.
- Work with external accountants during the transition phase to ensure continuity.
- Support integration or optimisation of finance systems (e.g., Xero, Sage, or chosen alternatives).

- Experience in an SME or growing business is beneficial but not essential.
- A self-starter who enjoys autonomy, problem-solving, and building structure where needed.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial matters clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
