Location: HM Naval Base, Portsmouth (HMNBP)

Service Area: Service Delivery

Hours of Work: 37 Per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to £38,600

What you will be doing:

  • Safe and professional mechanical planned and reactive maintenance on steam plant rooms and network.
  • Installation and replacement of pipework to current PSSR reg’s.
  • Carry out basic mechanical fault finding and rectification.
  • Completing all Point of Work Risk Assessments (PoWRA) before any task is started and all required PPE is worn and in good condition.

What you will bring:

  • Experience and knowledge in industrial pipe fitting.
  • Competent in using threading machine and similar tooling.

  • Experience in working with technical specifications and have a good understanding of safe systems of work.
  • Knowledge and application of Health and Safety best practices.
