What you will be doing:

  • Reporting to Talent & Recruitment Manager as Talent & Recruitment Co-ordinator, providing a pivotal service across KBS Maritime and its Hiring Managers by delivering and shaping the ongoing recruitment and talent delivery service.
  • Working with varied stakeholders across the business, tasked with the end-to-end recruitment process across a range of vacancies including coordination of new vacancy approval progress, drafting job adverts, advertising, CV searching and screening, conducting first stage telephone interviews, arranging interviews, and conducting onboarding processes for new starters.
  • Delivering an exceptional candidate experience and being involved with proactive resourcing against hard-to-fill and critical roles including headhunting, sourcing, and external agency coordination.
  • Accountable for the delivery of an outstanding and inclusive recruitment service and gaining exposure to wider strategic programmes of work including data metrics, entry to employment initiatives, careers day support, referral guidance, and more.
  • Supporting the Talent & Recruitment Manager in continuous improvement activities through the recruitment lifecycle, furthering our commitment to One KBS, driving business excellence, and fostering a culture of collaboration.

What you will bring:

  • A successful background in talent acquisition or full lifecycle recruitment, ideally gained in both in-house and recruitment agency environments.
  • Experience with direct sourcing and talent mapping.
  • Proven knowledge of recruitment best practice, employment law, and recruitment compliance requirements.
  • Confidence in supporting hiring manager relationships, along with a proactive mindset and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding candidate experiences.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, confident managing multiple vacancies and ensuring recruitment processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, adapt to changing priorities, and build trusted relationships to support high-quality hiring outcomes.

  • A future-focused mindset that proactively identifies opportunities to refine recruitment practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
