What You’ll be doing:
As a Supply Chain Specialist at KBS Maritime, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end procurement processes across a broad range of disciplines, including Hard Facilities Management, Specialist Systems, Compliance, and Waterfront capabilities. You’ll be instrumental in supporting the implementation of supply chain strategies that align with business objectives, helping to reduce sub-contract spend, streamline transactional workloads, and deliver best value in line with Public Sector procurement principles.
You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to build strong relationships and ensure optimal service delivery to the Naval Base. Your role will also involve contract management, supplier performance tracking, tender activity, and data-driven decision-making to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement. From placing orders in SAP to supporting strategic procurement actions, you’ll be a key contributor to the success of the Commercial and Supply Chain Function.
You’ll Have:
In this role, you’ll be supporting the full spectrum of Supply Chain management activities, from supplier engagement and contract oversight to process mapping and market research. You’ll play a key part in refining specifications, sourcing quotations, and ensuring procurement practices align with business needs and public sector principles. Your work will help shape efficient, compliant, and value-driven supply chain operations.
To succeed, you’ll bring a proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to navigate complex challenges with sound judgment. You’ll use your interpersonal and analytical skills to drive continuous improvement, prioritise tasks under pressure, and ensure alignment with internal policies and strategic goals. As a visible advocate for Supply Chain, you’ll help raise awareness of best practices and contribute to a culture of operational excellence.
