What you'll be doing:
- We’re looking for an Assistant Dive Supervisor to support and occasionally step up into the Dive Supervisor role.
- You’ll play a key part in delivering reactive and planned diving and maritime operations across Portsmouth, ensuring all work is carried out safely, professionally, and to the highest standards.
- This is a role for someone who’s hands-on, safety‑driven, and eager to lead when required — whether that’s overseeing a dive, coordinating documentation, or supporting the wider diving team.

- Your strong professional safety experience and demonstrable technical judgement will ensure you lead with integrity, while embodying KBS Maritime’s values.
- As a motivated and eager Diver, you will deliver results even when having to navigate challenges – something you take pride in.
About you:
- A valid First Aid at Work certificate
- An in‑date ADC Supervisor Certificate
- A strong understanding of the Diving at Work Regulations 1997, ACoP L104, and HSEG 3003
- Competence in writing and reviewing dive documentation
- HSE‑approved Surface Supplied certification (minimum)
- Experience with underwater husbandry and civil engineering techniques
- Medical fitness to undertake commercial diving duties
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance
- Full UK driving licence
