OVERVIEW
Project Controls and Commercial Services (PCCS) is the mechanism in which Sellafield Ltd have engaged KBR Ltd to provide Commercial and Project Controls Services to the portfolio of enterprise projects, in addition to the original PPP programme. Those services include the provision of some 150+ Commercial and Project Controls Professionals across the Sellafield Ltd network of Projects.
KBR’s rapidly growing nuclear team of teams is working at the forefront of the UK’s nuclear space on some of the most exciting new-build, defence and decommissioning programmes. PCCS Commercial Support
To support the management team in the delivery of a resource-based capability, to support the Client in the delivery of their strategic targets. Exposure will include:
- Basic subcontract management.
- Delivery of commercial actions.
- Communication and collaboration.
- Management of commercial documentation.
- Strategic & operational functions.
- Commercial administration and reporting.
- Delivery of project deliverables.
- Interim payments.
Reporting to senior members of the commercial team, to provide commercial assistance to the day-to-day aspects for contract administration of the PCCS:
- Experience of working as part of a team.
- Knowledge and experience of MS Office.
- Good time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Capable of obtaining (or currently holds) UK Nuclear industry clearance.
- Experience in the self-delivery of basic commercial duties.
- Aware of administrating construction contracts.
- High level of integrity and awareness of the management of sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Candidate should have a keenness to develop and evolve into the QS profession, to eventually be deployed on an SL project to continue the journey. Candidate to be enrolled, or plan to enrol on a BSc QS degree (or similar, but relevant), if not already qualified.
