Overview
In this senior role, you drive strategic asset management and estate intelligence to support client objectives and long-term estate planning. You will translate data into actionable insight for asset strategies, risk, compliance and investment prioritisation, while guiding cross-functional teams. You’ll move from reactive reporting to proactive decision-making using live performance, condition and cost data. This role interfaces with operations, assurance and client governance to shape investment and optimisation across the contract.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advisory on estate performance, asset risk, compliance and lifecycle planning
- Translate operational data into structured insights and actionable recommendations
- Support Asset Management Plans, FMRs and investment prioritisation; present outputs in governance forums
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Manager to align data, dashboards and performance metrics
- Ensure asset intelligence supports both delivery and long-term estate strategy; contribute to AI-enabled decision support
Key requirements
- Significant leadership experience in strategic asset management or estate management within complex, multi-site or public sector environments
- Experience mobilising and transitioning complex service delivery contracts
- Strong experience with CAFM/CMMS or equivalent digital platforms and asset information governance
- Proven ability to translate technical data into senior stakeholder insight
- Experience developing Asset Management Plans, FMRs, lifecycle plans or asset intervention strategies
- Experience in government or regulated estate environments (Desirable)
- Experience in data-driven or analytics-led service models (Desirable)
- Knowledge of assurance frameworks such as CRADs, ORR or equivalent (Desirable)
- Strong communication (written and verbal) for client-facing reports
- Strategic thinking and advisory mindset
