We are looking for an experienced Lead Instrumentation Engineer who is passionate about driving innovation in green energy, renewables.

As a Lead Instrumentation Engineer, you will:

  • Lead instrumentation and control systems design for greenfield and brownfield projects in the energy transition space.
  • Develop and review engineering deliverables including P&IDs, instrument lists, control system specifications, and automation documentation.
  • Specify and manage DCS, PLC, and SIS systems throughout their lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with process engineers on control narratives, cause & effect diagrams, and functional safety assessments.
  • Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and design reviews, and conduct FAT for control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, ISA, BSI, NFPA, ANSI, ASME, API).
  • Support globally integrated delivery teams and interface with third‑party systems.

Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Chartered Engineer
  • Proven experience in instrumentation and control design within green energy, renewables, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of ICSS including DCS, ESD, FGS, and instrumentation communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with safety standards IEC 61508, IEC 61511.
  • Proficiency in engineering and design software, and instrumentation database tools (e.g., SPI).
  • Functional safety certification is a plus
  • Relevant experience
