The Sellafield nuclear site is home to one of the most complex portfolios of construction and infrastructure projects in the world, supporting the transformation from nuclear operator into a world leader in environmental remediation. Project Controls and Commercial Services provide commercial and project controls services across the portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre‑and post‑contract management and commercial management for projects.
- Support tender documentation development and issue, and issue work orders/purchase orders.
- Evaluate and certify monthly interim valuations.
- Manage framework agreements and conduct commercial audits, using CEMAR.
- Review key contractual documentation, ensuring alignment and recommending improvements.
- Collaborate with delivery partners to identify commercial and delivery opportunities and help capture and invest in them.
- Support robust contract administration and behavioural change initiatives to deliver business case benefits.
- Maintain secure information channels and improve communications of performance reporting and key commercial issues.
Skills and Experience
- Pre‑and post‑contract management experience.
- Working knowledge of NEC3 contract suite and contract management practices.
- Experience with CEMAR.
- Strong SAP experience and certification in SAP ERP business process basics.
- Understanding of CTM is desirable, but not essential.
- Ability to work within Sellafield commercial procedures.
